Brutal Planet Review

Having been an Alice Cooper fan for well over ten years, I thought I knew what to expect from his latest outing, "Brutal Planet." Those expectations were thrown out the window upon first listening because there's no way to prepare for how near-perfect this disc is. "Brutal Planet" is Alice's best CD since the gory days of the original Alice Cooper Group, and the reason is simple: It's like nothing he's ever done. This is a charging, fist-pumping, head-banging version of the usual glam-style treatment we've come to expect from the master of all that is dark and unholy. Every track hits home in some aspect, whether political, social or personal. "Wicked Young Man," "Cold Machines" and "Sanctuary" prove that theory with a vengeance. Perhaps the best track, however, is "Take it Like a Woman," a throwback to "Only Women Bleed" that takes sentimentality on one of life's grimmest subjects to new heights.
Overall, anyone can prove that this planet is rotten, but no one can do a better job proving that the music on it doesn't need to be.

Alice Cooper is simply amazing...and his latest effort prooves it. I bought Dragontown when it first came out, and I didn't like it as much as his under-appreciated Brutal Planet, but I still liked it. Today I went to Best Buy and saw this Limited Edition CD in a white slip case with mirrorized red lettering and had to have it. Not only is Dragontown an awesome record, but the bonus disc just adds to its' brilliance. Four songs-3 live and one remix and 2 videos. "Clowns will eat me" I think is on the Brutal Planet deluxe edition, and the song is great. The 2 live tracks are ultimate classics (in my view), "Go to Hell" & probably my favorite Alice song, "Ballad of Dwight Fry." His vocals sound amazing...even on hitting the high notes in "Ballad of Dwight Fry." The remix could sound more haunting, more Alice. It sounds as if "Brutal Planet" was being played at a dance club (but not as poppy or cheesy). I think if Rob Zombie remixed it the song would be better. All in all, Dragontown Limited Edition is amazing and it's a must have for any Alice Cooper fan.

Lotsa dark humor and hard rockin' music with a new wave flavor make this a must-have. Favorite tracks: Skeletons In The Closet and You're A Movie.
Alice had fallen out of favor when he released this album in 1981 which stalled at US #125. That's the only explanation I can think of for it not yielding a handful of hits. This is a peppy, slick, high-energy feel good album with some of Alice's funniest lyrics. The (very) loose theme is some kind of para-military fantasy and the album begins with a helicopter (which Aldo Nova would steal a year or so later for Fantasy) dropping the head banging song Special Forces into your ears. There is a good cover of Seven and Seven is (a mixed drink?) and a piece of fluff about a transvestite policeman, Prettiest Cop On The Block, which is probably the weak link in the chain of tunes.
Don't Talk Old To Me comes at you with a real punk feel. Generation Landslide adds a few lyrics to the classic from Billion Dollar Babies, but not much else. Skeletons in the Closet is as good a song as Alice ever did, and could've fit on any of his more popular albums. It begins with a nice faux harpsicord and ends with the trademark whispering of "Alice Alice..." This is an obligatory track for your next Halloween party mix.
You Want It, You Got It and You Look Good In Rags continue the hard punk sound Alice was experimenting with here quite successfully. Vicious Rumours rocks pretty hard and closes out the album where it began with guns loading and helicopters flying. The stand out piece, though, is You're A Movie, which features Alice as a General, who is the reincarnation of Patton, with Hannibal's heart, and Alexander's prowess. It is delightfully smug and condescending. After 21 years I still laugh out loud everytime I hear it.
This is the perfect cure for a bad day or a boring drive. It's hard not to nod along and smile as Alice struts and frets his hour or so on your CD player.

Tells a great story, each song stands on its own. People may think Alice wants to be a force in the music business again, but it's more like he wants to be a musical force to his fans & friends--which is what should count these days. Outstanding guitar work & song compostion. Stop torturing us... your hardcore fans need more records like this--more often!

Alice Cooper - Trashes the World Review

My favorite era of Alice was the late 80's and Early 90's, so I had to get this DVD for myself come hell or highwater.
I dont know if I have a faulty disk, or if it's actualy supposed to be in 1.0 sound. Meaning audio is only coming out of one speaker, i've played other DVD's in my machine to check, it's only this disc thats doing that.
Even tho I could not enjoy this in surround sound, it is quite a good performance, I gotta say, I expected to be let down by the songs not sounding any good live, but it quite suprised me how they actualy sounded quite like the original recordings, the backing vocals are not as strong as like on the TRASH album, but I thought they sounded pretty darn good actualy! Especialy on POISON, every live version I have heard prior to this performance on this DVD sounded horrible, but this one actualy sounds very good!
The stage show itself is not anywhere near as good as "Welcom To My Nightmare" there is not a lot of stage show, theatrics at all on this, there is the gillotine and nurses, staright jackets ect... but nothing spectacular, but that does not take anythign away from this great live show! I could possibly be wrong, but I'm pretty sure this is the show that the live tracks off "Alice Coooper Classics" are from. I'm 90% sure on that, so if you have heard that album, and liked what you hear, then this is the stuff!
There are no bonus features, no subtitles, no extras... there is just your main menu with song selection (Chapter index) and Play/Resume.
The set list is...
1. TRASH
2. BILLION DOLLAR BABIES
3. I'M EIGHTEEN
4. I'M YOUR GUN
5. DESPERADO
6. HOUSE OF FIRE
7. NO MORE, MR. NICE GUY
8. THIS MANIAC'S IN LOVE WITH YOU
9. STEVEN
10. WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE
11. BALLED OF DWIGHT FRY
12. GUTTER CATS VS THE JETS
13. ONLY WOMEN BLEED
14. I LOVE THE DEAD
15. POISON
16. MUSCLE OF LOVE
17. SPARK IN THE DARK
18. BED OF NAILS
19. SCHOOLS OUT
20. UNDER MY WHEELS
21. ONLY MY HEART TALKING (not live, it's audio of the actualy song played during the credits)
VOCALS: Alice Cooper
GUITARS: Al Pitrelli & Pete Freezen
BASS: T-Bone Caradonna
KEYBOARDS: Derek Sheriniann
DRUMS: Jonathan Mover
Almost the entire TRASH album is in the set list, except "why Trust You", "Hell Is Living Without You" and "Only My Heart Talking" but the songs that are on here all go well in the same set list, they sound terrific, and get better as the show rolls on... A lot of people where asking on web sites if Slash, Bon Jovi, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry where on this show? No, it wouldve been nice to see them, but no, they are not on the show, there are no guests at all, there is a female who comes on later in the show to add some pretty good backing vocals tho, she really lifts the sound of the vocals.
Even tho it seems to be in 1.0, and there is no bonus features, for it's price, i'm happy with it. If you like the TRASH album, you'll love this DVD, if you didnt like that album, you might wanna check it out for the songs that are performed that havent been brought out on any DVD yet... they do sound great, but they are played in the metal/hard rock style of the trash album!
UPDATE: It turned out my speakers where faulty, it is in 2.0 sound, might even be 3.0... i'm really not sure, but 2 channels work and it sounds awsome!! Just wish it was louder!

Welcome To My Nightmare (Expanded & Remastered) Review

Welcome To My Nightmare (Expanded and Remastered)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The sound of this remaster is gorgeous! I usually ho-hum at remasters, and can't tell much difference, but this is an exception. The sounds are sharper, crisper. Little sounds and lost instrumentation have been brought up from the background. and some of the weird noises have been given more prominence. I listened to both CD versions back to back, and I could hear major differences. The original CD seems to have been designed to suit more classic rock tastes, but this one seems to have been mastered to suit the tastes of Alice fans.
This reissue was produced by Brian Nelson and David McLees. Sound was produced by Bill Inglot. It was remastered by Dan Hersch at Digiprep-not by Bob Ezrin as the editorial review incorrectly states (check the liner notes before reviewing!)
It comes with a ten page booklet with some nice archive photos (that made me wish there were more photos and that they were larger!) from the "Welcome To My Nightmare" tour and a text piece by Jeffery Morgan-which basically praises Alice to death and doesn't tell fans anything they didn't already know-but it's still nice to read.
The three alternate songs were taken from Alice's ABC TV Special, "The Nightmare," co-starring Vincent Price, which was first broadcast 4/25/75. This is not the "Welcome To My Nightmare" concert video-this is a series of vignettes acted out by Cooper and Price that is nearly impossible to find by conventional means. Maybe this CD will generate interest and they will re-release it. In any case, they do not detract from the album at all...in fact, they add a little closure to it.
"Devil's Food" has alternate lyrics-probably mandated by television executives, but in my opinion the lyrics are even more potentially offensive! Leave it to Alice to pull that off. The music is different as well, trippier, more far out. The end of "Devil's Food" is played out without the Vincent Price monologue. "Cold Ethyl" is much the same with perhaps a more enthusiastic performance from Alice, he really gets into the "ooooooh so cold" bit. "The Awakening" has radically altered lyrics that fit just as well...it is a sweeter, more innocent alternate ending to the nightmare closed out by Vincent Price's lovely voice telling Alice the nightmare is never over.
Now as to the original tracks on the album: The title song begins the album with a whispery invitation to sample some of the disturbing images in Alice's haunted toy box. The song features creepy guitar work by Dick Wagner and Steve Hunter and ends with a rousing fanfare of horns welcoming you into the nightmare. The bizarre guitar work is really brought out in the remaster, up to the level of the horns, it gives it a much weirder sound.
Next up is "Devil's Food," a song about the Devil getting ready for a hot date or maybe a hot meal. As the song winds down Alice treats us to a monologue by Vincent Price, a full eight years before Mr. Jackson would do the same on his "Thriller" album. He portrays a museum curator with an obsession with spiders. This leads us right into "The Black Widow," Alice's Spider King who demands that we love him or be devoured. The little sounds are really brought out here and Alice's vocals sound more distinct. The two guitars are more clearly separated.
The next three songs are fun tunes that add musical diversity to the album. "Only Women Bleed" was Alice's first ballad and would mark the beginning of a string of melancholy hits throughout the rest of the seventies. "Some Folks" is a Broadway kick-line number about anger, violence, lust and pain. "Department of Youth" is a pre-teen anthem about kids running the world-the scariest thought on the album! All of them sound crisper and more precise. The violins on "Only Women Bleed" are much more prominent.
The chilling mood returns with "Cold Ethyl," the most upbeat song about necrophilia ever written. "One thing I miss is Cold Ethyl and her skeleton kiss...We met last night making love by the refrigerator light." There is a woman moaning excitedly under the music in this song-which is really brought out in this remaster. I like the extra edge it gives the song.
"Long Ago," "Stephen" and "The Awakening" form a story about a little boy (or is he a great big man?) with some sort of multiple personality disorder who can't figure out why all his friends are gone, all his toys are broken and people keep dying, until...well, buy the album and see for yourself. "The Awakening" is one of the coolest punch-lines to an album I've ever heard. The eerie tone of these songs is served well by the sharp ultra clear remastering of this CD. The creepy sounds, hidden voices, and far off calling of Stephen's mother are all more prominent in the mix of sounds. It made the listening experience all the more chilling.
"Escape" closes out the album and is about escaping from the nightmare. Because Alice at heart is a sweet guy all his stories have happy endings. "Welcome to My Nightmare" is no exception. In the end, we wake up, and wipe the cobwebs from our eyes, and realize that we are back in the daytime world. Don't worry; we can get back to the nightmare if we need to. After all, aren't nightmares just a way to escape from our sometimes mundane lives?
If you are debating getting this remaster because you already have the CD of "Welcome To My Nightmare"-and it is already a perfect CD, I urge you to take the plunge. I believe this is even better, or at least as good, but delightfully different. The three alternate songs are a must for any fan. The improved clarity of sound, and the brightening of some of the background instrumentation make it well worth buying.

Constrictor Review

Constrictor
Average Reviews:

"Constrictor" was the very first CD I ever bought and this was my first Alice Cooper CD. I had heard "School's Out" of course, but had never really paid attention to who performed it. I went to see "Friday the 13, Part 6" and was immediately taken by "He's Back (The Man Behind the Mask)" during the end credits. So decided to pick up Alice's disk to see how the rest of the album was. Thanks to Jason and another batch of hapless counselors at Camp Crystal Lake, I found Alice Cooper. "Constrictor" features what is best about Alice's music. Great songwriting, laden with wit and catchy hooks and chorus'. The songs on "Constrictor" are some of Alice's best. "Teenage Frankenstein" is a song only Alice Cooper could pull off. The guitar driven ode to teenage angst is fun and catchy, and Kane Roberts guitar work is just made for cranking up the car stereo. "Life and Death of the Party" is a personal favorite with fantasic guitar work, and a song that is hurt in no way by the electro-drumming. "He's Back" should become part of your Halloween mix CD! I think one of the best songs on the disk is "Simple Disobedience". The chorus is catchy and again the electro-drumming really keeps the song moving. "The World Needs Guts" is a great, in your face metal track, with some of the coolest lyrics Alice ever penned.
I see several reveiwers slammed Alice for the electric drums, and synth use on this disk, but that was just a product of the times. What is great about Alice Cooper is that he wasn't using the latest technology as a crutch, but rather he used it to enhance his songs. It's great that Alice Cooper is willing to take risks and try out various musical styles. As a fan, I may not always care for the end product, but I can appreciate how Alice is always giving something new to his fans. Look beyond the techno stuff and you will see that "Constrictor" still features simply great songwriting.

Raise Your Fist & Yell Review

Raise Your Fist and Yell
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
Alice hones the sound of Constrictor on Raise Your Fist and Yell, and blends it with typical Alice Cooper lyrics. The result is one of Cooper's best solo albums ever. Lock Me Up is a great metal song, and should remain in Cooper's live set list. The drumming is insane on Lock Me Up, a real headbanger. Not That Kind of Love is funny, and another straight ahead metal tune. Give the Radio Back and Raise Your Fist and Yell is Cooper's response to the 80's, Tipper Gore led PMRC attack on heavy metal. Kane Roberts gets to flex his metal muscle with Prince of Darkness, and unlike Constrictor, Kip Winger's bass work is in the forefront of most songs. The reason to buy Raise Your Fist though is for the trilogy of songs: Chop-Chop-Chop, Gail and Roses on White Lace. These three songs tell the story of a murderer and his crimes against a would-be bride. The story is fascinating and Cooper once again creates an audial horror movie. Gail may be Cooper's creepiest song next to Former Lee Warmer. This is one Alice Cooper CD you won't be able to put away for long, perfect for the Halloween season.

Alice Cooper - Brutally Live (DVD and CD) (2000)

This is the first time I'd ever seen a Alice Cooper concert. Had no idea that it was a full blown stage show, not just a music concert. I have thoroughly enjoyed this DVD at least five times and will watch it again when time prevails.
I would like to point out that the production of this video is excellent. The video portion gives you two angles, but that is not what sells me on this DVD, it's the quality, just great! The audio portion is well done also. It gives you the feeling of being in the front row. Put this DVD to a big screen tv and a good sound system, and you are there!
I just attended an Alice Cooper concert in Cincinnati last night. It was pretty much the same as what is on the Brutally Live DVD with a few exceptions. A few of his newer songs off of the Dragontown disc had been added in place of some others.
I must say that I think that the Brutally Live DVD is better than the live show I saw. Don't get me wrong, the man and his band put on a hell of a performance, but the sound in the theater was not as good as what I get from the DVD.
In summary, if you get a chance to see Alice live, do it by all means. Then buy this DVD to enjoy when you can't see him live. In either case it's entertainment money well spent.

Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare Review

Alice Cooper: Welcome to My Nightmare
Average Reviews:

This DVD is a fantastic sample of an often dissed rocker - Alice Cooper, who Bob Dylan has said is a greatly underappreciated song writer. I saw this tour in Chicago - Suzi Quattro opened - and the DVD's performance night has Alice perhaps a little more the worse for wear. Nevertheless this DVD shows a great performer backed by a fabulous band (who, I believe, also played on "Rock n Roll Animal"). Alice's red jump suit and saber, the monsters, the colors and lights are Alice during his lengthy prime; when he lets out "welcome to my breakdown - I hope I didn't scare you" with his trademark leer shivers run down my spine.
Alice's greatness, to me, rests on his sublimely original image, his great hard rocking, his appealing melodies and the sympathy and sensitivity that he projects amid an often nightmare world. This is all amply demonstrated on this DVD. For my generation, raised on the British Invasion followed by California and New York psychedelics, Alice represents the last great, truly original rock. Much fine music has followed, but these were the Founding Fathers.

I have this Album on original vinyl, and I love the thing. The mickey spellane novel motif is an interesting image for Alice. Idk if the CD is the same, but on the inner record sleeve, it shows Alice wearing white shirt and tie,and a black fedora, loading what seems like a .38 revolver, with an unfiltered cigarette in his mouth, makes him look that much bad ass. The songs are great, and this album in general is one of Alice's finest in my eyes.

Thanks to my Dad and his huge record collection, I've been an Alice Cooper fan since birth. I saw him live once back in 2001 and one of my father's friends even managed to dive over a seat and snag a whip Alice threw into the crowd from some poor little kid. Other than KISS (who even claim to have stolen the over-the-top stage theatrics idea from Alice), nobody puts on a live show like him. There are 26 songs on both the Blu-ray and CD that were recorded in December 2009. The DVD runs for a little over 90 minutes and the CD is about 80 minutes long, but no songs are cut. The 10 missing minutes from the CD is the time he spends on stage doing his typical crazy stuff that we all love.
The picture and sound quality are top notch. Alice Cooper still sounds very good live and the band hits all the right notes. I also liked the all over the place song selection. You still get most of the classics, but we get a song here and there from the more recent albums too. This stage show blows away the one I saw some 9 Halloweens ago. Alice dies multiple times and we get all kinds of creatures and masked men running around on the stage.
If you're a fan this is a must buy of course. I've seen his other live DVD releases and this is my favorite by far. I can't wait to watch it again. Maybe I'll blast it Halloween night and scare all the kids away. More candy for me. Thanks Alice.

I had planned to pass on the latest Alice Cooper DVD/CD combo, Theatre of Death: Live at Hammersmith 2009. After all, how many versions of "School's Out" and "18" does a guy need?
At least one more, as it turns out. Despite having two or three other video versions of Cooper shows in my home library, I added this latest set to my collection today, and I'm glad I did. Beautifully filmed, the recording captures a set list and theatrical show virtually identical to the one my wife and I saw just a few weeks back in Cleveland. Apparently, the Cooper tradition of only changing shows every other year still holds true.
Basically, this is Cooper doing what he does best: Serving as ringleader for a group of talented younger musicians and ripping through as many classic tunes from his repertoire as possible. Only a few songs from the last decade make the cut ("Dirty Diamonds," "Wicked Young Man" and "Vengeance Is Mine"), with a few more obscure hits ("Guilty" and "Nurse Rosetta," the last being one of my favorite Cooper tracks from the criminally under-appreciated 1979 album, "From the Inside") inserted for good measure.
This DVD is better than 2005's "Live at Montreux," largely because the theatrics are much stronger. The Hammersmith show offers super-sized syringes, a hanging, a guillotining, and a disturbing belt-sander-to-the-crotch sequence. Cooper's is in fine voice here, and damn if it doesn't get stronger past the halfway point when he serves up two ballads in a row "Only Women Bleed" and "I Never Cry."
Band members Damon Johnson and Keri Kelli (guitars), Chuck Garric (bass) and Jimmy DeGrasso (drums) offer a tight set. Garric is especially effective when he takes over lead vocal duties on "I Love the Dead," giving Cooper a chance to prep for the one-two-three punch of the finale, "No More Mr. Nice Guy," "Under My Wheels," and "School's Out."
Weak points? Well, opening and closing with "School's Out" is overkill, even for such a seminal anthem, and I would love to hear Cooper give some of the newer songs from his oeuvre a chance live. With so many classics to choose from, it's a tough decision to scratch an old standby in favor of something newer, but I wish the ratio of old to new wasn't so skewed.
I'm glad I dropped sixteen dollars on this DVD. Doubtless, I'll give it at least one more play before Halloween. If you're into vintage hard rock with a theatrical flair, this one is practically nirvana.

In 1986, Alice Cooper (Vincent Furnier) was returning to the rock-n-roll spotlight after a 4 year absence. Yes, Alice did release two albums (Zipper Catches Skin & Dada) since he last toured in 1981 for his underrated "Special Forces" album, but those albums were very poorly marketed and hence, unsuccessful. AC was also battling alcohol problems again during the early '80s which hurt his ability to tour. In 1985, AC met the bodybuilding, vocalist and guitarist extraordinaire Kane Roberts. AC also met a then unknown bassist, Kip Winger, and the combination of Roberts and Winger helped to revitalize and energize AC for the heavy metal '80s. AC was able to kick his drinking problem (for good) and really concentrate on his music. In 1986, AC released his first album in two years, Constrictor, to mixed reviews and sales. AC wrote the lyrics, while Roberts and Winger wrote most of the music. Even though the album had a mediocore reception, the anticipation for AC live and in concert was very high! Alice Cooper and his live show was becoming something of a legendary myth in the 80's, and the new, young heavy-metal crowd could not wait to witness and experience the macabre performances the master showman, Alice Cooper, was famous for.
Cue 10/31/86. Halloween night. First AC show in 4 years. Live on MTV in front of his "home town" Detroit. "The Nightmare Returns". This one broadcast did more for AC's career than all the publicity AC had at the time put together! MTV enabled AC to be seen live, nationwide at a time when heavy metal was about to explode in popularity. Needless to say, AC put on a show for the ages! The 20,000 people that sold out Joe Louis Arena in Detroit that night were rabid. The general admission floor crowd was moving en masse and like a human wave. The energy was so strong, that it still emanates from the concert DVD! AC put on his most violent and hard hitting show for the broadcast. The band was pumped, primed and they delivered full force! From the opening "Welcome To My Nightmare", it's evident that this was going to be a special night! AC does it all: mutilating baby dolls, beating up ghouls, impaling a camera man, fighting a giant robot, cutting himself and Kane with a sword, escaping from a straight-jacket and finally being beheaded! The screams of horror from the audience are funny to hear, LOL! THIS one broadcast resulted in sold out shows all over the world, AC was back on top of the rock-n-roll mountain!
Wow! Buy this DVD and witness the triumphant comeback of THE greatest showman in the history of rock-n-roll! I was lucky enough to witness this tour live at the George Mason University auditorium. I was an AC neophyte and one of those people that had heard surreal tales of AC shows; the show made me an AC fan for life. This concert will do the same for you, as long as you enjoy a good horror movie and excellent hard rock music.
FYI, Megadeth opened for AC during the U.S. portion of this tour. AC, after witnessing Dave Mustaine's alcohol problems, helped Dave with this self-destructive issue, and the two have remained close friends ever since. How Cute! Put him on the guillotine!
This DVD has the added bonus of two videos: Teenage Frankenstein and Freedom that are not on the original VHS release.

Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper - Live 1973 - Billion Dollar Babies Tour (1973) Review

Good To See You Again, Alice Cooper - Live 1973 - Billion Dollar Babies Tour (1973)

If Charles Manson killed the hippie's "Summer Of Love", Alice Cooper mocked and humped the corpse. There could have been no better time for Alice Cooper to appear than in the early 70s. I was just a child at the time, standing around shadowy corners of the schoolyard where second hand stories of Alice's gory live act were whispered and traded like gruesome little folklore tales. Our parents tried to protect us, but we would spend amazing amounts of effort sneaking albums and 8-track tapes of Alice around, secretly listening to the forbidden musical gems. Anybody who saw the band live at this time must have sensed that they were witness to a historical moment in time... a moment that represented American pop-culture's bogus innocence being deflowered. These lovely blood spattered memories are now ours to cherish forever with the DVD release of "Good to See You Again Alice Cooper", available for the first time ever on home video.
Two nights of Alice Cooper's notorious 1973 Billion Dollar Babies tour (April 28th in Dallas and April 29th in Houston) were filmed to create this rare 1974 midnight matinee film, and it's a great testament to the riotous live act that made the Alice Cooper Group a threat to concerned parents everywhere. This DVD contains the original cut of the film which includes the band starring in charming little skits scattered amongst the astonishing live footage (The more common version of the film shown in theaters included old film and newsreel footage instead of the skits). A highly amusing moment among these skits features the band playing "The Lady Is a Tramp". Shout! Factory lovingly provides this release with a new high-definition film transfer along with a new Surround Sound mix created from the 16-track master tapes.
What uncomfortable items will Alice shove down his pants? What celebrity will be pummeled to a pulp by the band? Will the snake get out of control? Where will all the blood and spittle drip to? Will security be able to hold Alice back from attacking and brawling with audience members? Will Alice lose his head? The answers to these questions and more are available in "Good to See You Again Alice Cooper - The film that out-grosses them all".
