(More customer reviews)This video is very good for any Spice fan who wants to know more about the girls. The video starts out with a 30 minute interview with the girls. It then goes to the good stuff! The Spice Girls first every concert! It was filmed in Istanbul, Turkey on October 12, 1997 infront of 8,000 fans and millions more through pay-per-view! The BIG flaw of this video is that they edited out half of the concert! Songs on the video are If You Cant Dance, Who Do You Think You Are?, Say You'll Be There, Step To Me, Naked, Two Become One, Spice Up Your Life, Move Over, and finishes with Wannabe. Songs that were edited are Something Kinda Funny, Saturday Night Divas, Stop, Too Much, Love Thing, and Mama. Why did they edit so many songs!A plus though is that Geri is still part of the gang during this concert!

(More customer reviews)The SPICE GIRLS was a short-lived pop group back in the late 90s. After losing a member and unofficially splitting up, each girl went and had a solo career in music. The total number of solo albums they recorded is greater than the number of albums they made as a group. However, discussing further their solo albums is not relevant in this review.
After more than five years since they released their last album Forever, the girls had finally agreed to reunite for a "world" tour and the much-awaited (by the fans) Greatest Hits.
This particular item is the CD/DVD edition. All their singles are included in the CD, from Wannabe to Headlines (Friendship Never Ends). The radio edits and single versions of the songs are used. So for those who only have their albums you finally get the single version of 2 Become 1, in which Victoria sang the fourth verse instead of Geri.
Their well-known Pepsi advert theme song called Move Over (Generation Next), and a second new track Voodoo (Headlines is the other one) are included here to complete the 15 tracks that composed the CD.
What's better in this album is that the songs had been remastered. Though not mentioned in the inlay of the album, the improvement over the sound of the tracks can be heard, especially in Who Do You Think You Are.
The DVD contains all of their music videos sans Headlines (the US version includes Headlines though). It's fun to watch once more their cool videos such as the futuristic Spice Up Your Life, the sexy Holler, and the MTV-awarded Viva Forever. You'll get to notice some cute and petty little things in their videos which you might not have noticed before, since during their time DVD was not yet popular.
If you want to relive 90's music, have a happy/light mood, have fun, or maybe dance, then this album is recommended for you. The SPICE GIRLS may not have lasted long. But their impact in music and their legacy are presented once again in this album.

(More customer reviews)I love the Spice Girls but I didnt get to see them on their reunion tour. Thankfully this CD made it a little better, it contains almost all their best known songs plus 2 brand new ones. I love HEADLINES although it did take alot of listens for me to really get use to it. Voo Doo is good also, it is pretty old school Spice Girls. Awesome CD!!!

After much speculation and rumour the Spice Girls announced their reunion tour and Greatest Hits album to the world's media this summer. Fifty five million records sold, an astonishing 9 UK no. 1 singles, three back-to-back Christmas no. 1 singles and with 'Wannabe' the biggest selling single ever by an all female group, the Spice Girls have very little to prove. The band are never out of the media spotlight, the British tabloids and women's magazines adore them and the British public can't get enough. 3.5 million people worldwide have registered for tour tickets, 1 million of those were from the UK.

(More customer reviews)I could say that I bought 'Spice World' for my teenage daughter and that would be quite true. Of course that statement wouldn't account for the additional copy stashed away in my own personal DVD collection. I guess it's time for me to face up to the truth and just say it out loud. Mel B - Mel C - Victoria - Geri & Emma, your movie is hilarious!

Yes, it's predictable, shallow and inane, but it's also adorable, quirky and off-the-wall in a good, Monty Python sort of way. It actually works! Say and think what you will, I LIKE IT!
So no more excuses accepted, get your own copy of 'Spice World' so you can enjoy the Fab Five as they romp about jolly old England in their very 'posh' double decker bus! GIRL POWER!!

(More customer reviews)If you want to go on a interesting journey with the spice girls this is it. You really get to see how they feel, understand, and look at things through out the whole video. Find out why Geri left and how they felt, the girls met Madonna, and really see them as who they really are and you actually start to feel with them and understand. If u r looking 4 full length versions of your favorite spice girls songs, then this is not your kind of tape. See at first that is why I got it but, they do show them live some preforming lady is a vamp, say you'll be there, Viva Forever and they actually show them recording the Goodbye song. Shows Emma crying cause of problems of touring, also shows Mel G (may I say Mel B again she is getting a Divorce) crying about Geri leaving , she busted out right after recording it, and shows Mel C getting really angry about news reporters and them being gossip about, and shows a funnier side of Victoria also shows her Husband David. I am a guy and I am not afraid to say I enjoy the Girls and wish them luck in whatever they do since Geri has a solo album, also Mel C does , Mel B is still working on hers but, I heard singles she has done already like I want U back featuring Missy Elliot, And Emma is working on one to and she goes as the same as scary she has released singles like the remake of the 80's song What I am it is awesome! and she has also started acting by the why I love Baby Spice. As for posh she will also start a solo album down the road and just to let u know if u don't know now she was supposed to leave the spice girls cause of her life and she wanted to take care of her baby but, when Geri left she really couldn't cause well hey that would had look really good if u get what I am saying. But if U really want to get to Know the real SPICE GIRLS this video is the best!
