It's a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll--sounds very much like KU does in concert. A must have for Urban fans.

It features 3 videos from his 1999 self-titled album (Your Everything, Where the Blacktop Ends, But for the Grace of God) and 3 videos from his 2002 Golden Road album (Somebody Like You, Raining on Sunday, Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me). All videos are crystal clear and shown in their entirety, and the sound really gets your heart racing! Keith is an incredible performer!! I was a little disappointed that there was no insert or pamphlet -- there was only the DVD in the case. But since I was never promised anything except videos, I can't complain. I just store my ticket stubs from his concerts in the case so it's a complete package.
BUY THIS DVD!! The songs and the scenery are well worth the price.

(More customer reviews)Here's a novel idea, let's have a concert DVD that actually FEELS like a concert. Rare, I know. Difficult, not impossible. Keith Urban's "Livin Right Now" is reason enough to have faith in concert DVD's. This package is one of the best concert discs to date. Start to finish this is a fun party. As stated earlier, you will feel as if you are there. It's HDTV stunning and surround sound crisp. Hey Keith, spread the word, this is how concert DVD's are SUPPOSED to be. Thank you for this.
P.S. I bought this disc for my wife. She's the country fan. Alas, I am now a fan of Keith Urban's music.

(More customer reviews)It's sometimes hard to take Keith Urban seriously as an artist. After all, songs such as "Once in a Lifetime" were written specifically to be radio hits. It's unfortunate that only his lesser material (for the most part) gets radio airplay, because looking at his albums overall, one gets the sense that Urban truly knows how to craft a fine piece of music.
LOVE, PAIN, & THE WHOLE CRAZY THING is a great record, and let me tell you why. Sure, it has its ready-for-radio tunes, but we'll look beyond that. What we're looking at, specifically, is Urban's musicianship: what other chart-toppers today can boast that they play guitar, bass, ganjo, piano, and various other odds-n-ends on their records? Not many. What other artist today can write an instant chart-topper, alongside tunes that require a bit more thought-processing? Not many. What other artist today can amass such a following, and yet still feel compelled to prove himself time and time again? Urban could sit back on his heels and enjoy the success he's gained...yet, as the non-standard production of "Got It Right This Time" shows, he's still experimenting with what he can do. Listen to the bass line of "Faster Car" (played by Urban), and not feel that Urban has something else to say. Listen to the drum/guitar solo of "I Told You So" and not feel like you're in the midst of a revolutionary rock record.
So maybe Keith Urban isn't "revolutionary." But he's definitely pushing the bar. He is a super-talented singer/songwriter, who hasn't let his success limit him. LOVE, PAIN & AND THE WHOLE CRAZY THING is a great pop/country/rock record, with more emphasis upon the latter two. The songs are by and large standouts, and the musicianship is stellar. Urban has another winner on his hands here; don't miss this one.

I picked this up at WalMart today for $10...I believe they have an exclusive. What we have here is Keith in a BIG arena show as opposed to the smaller hall he played in the GRAMMY winning "Livin Right Now" DVD. I prefer the previous DVD by a great margin. The show is more intimate...the filming is better that performance has more of a connection...perhaps this is due to the nature of how an artist has to perform in a huge arena and the problems with filming ..particularly the "in the round" section. There are bonus features...mostly goof ups and a 15 minute making of that is mostly a movie of Keiths face in different cities...kinda strange actually. This is however on its own merits a terrific DVD and great 2 hour show and for $10 has to get a 5 star review. If you have the other DVD this is different enough to not be a waste of your time...if you have neither I'd certainly start with the first...and I almost forgot there is a sort of "rough" video of the song "you look good in my shirt" as another bonus...and did I mention..this kid Urban can play guitar...I mean he gets busy on that thing!!
