My daugher was a bit disappointed . . . she thought it would be a DVD version of the 3D movie we saw which was an actual live concert performance. There are a few other "extras," but thought there would be more songs. Recommended for any Hannah fan.

(More customer reviews)This video was my favorite movie when I was little and i still love it as a teenager. It begins with a live performance of Man in the Mirror. And then goes into a huge MJ medly wich include I Want YOu BAck, ABC, The Love You Save, Whos Loving You, Ben, Dancing Machine, Blame It On The Boogie, Shake Your Body Down To the Ground, Can You Feel It, Rock With You, Dont Stop Till You Get Enough, Thriller, Beat It, Billie Jean, Human Nature, State of Shock, We Are the World, The Way You Make Me Feel and Dirty Diana. Then we see a little kid version BAD. The clamation Speed Demon is next and is very funny. THen its the video Leave me Alone and then goes into the actual hour long Moonwalker movie. I think the best part of this whole video is the 10 minute performance of Smooth Criminal. Michael's dance moves during this song seem to defy gravity. He ends the movie with Come Together. If you stick aroung till after the credit you get the actual Smooth Criminal music video which is pretty tame compared to the movie version.

Europe 72 Review

(More customer reviews)There are three seminal, essential live Grateful Dead albums, each a bit different, but each containing all the elements orf improvisation, multiple musical styles, and ensemble tightness that made the Dead so unique. These are Live Dead, Grateful Dead (Skull and Roses) and Europe 72. It is impossible to pick one over the other as *the best* of the officially released live Dead albums, and if I had to, I could live with no Dead albums other than these three, but I could not give up any one of them.

Europe 72 contains both some of the tightest compact versions of several Dead tunes, as well as some of the most ethereal extended jams. For those interested in the magic of what used to happen when everything just jelled exactly right, listen to Weir's unique idiosyncratic rhythm-lead solo between China Cat and I know you rider (yup - That's Bobby playing the lead). There are lots of examples of this jam on other live Dead recordings, but nowhere does the playing of all band members synergize in the segue as well as on this cut. Trucking-Prologue-Epilogue Morning Dew is basically one long piece of music. Epilogue gets really nice and jazzy and stretches things out like only the Dead could. Prologue merges into a Morning Dew that has a Bobby-Keith rhythm guitar/piano section that is so tight that even after listening to it for more than 30 years there are still parts where I can't tell if I am hearing Bobby or Keith. Jerry's vocals and lead are are stronger and more emotional on this than on any other Morning Dew available anywere. Europe 72 also features a wider range of styles from Jerry and the boys than either Live Dead or Skull and Roses, ranging from very countrified on Cumberland Blues to rock on One More Saturday Night to good old trademark Greatful Dead style everything but the kitchen sink on the long jams.
This is a great album. The new tracks are a nice feature, but not one of them is as strong as any of the originals (But Jerry's pedal steel on Looks' Like Rain is a nice touch). Still, this is one (of 3) Dead albums that is an absolute must for DeadHeads of all ages.

Do you want them to get up and move -- dancing, clapping, hopping and stomping? Of course you do, and that's why you need to get them "Stir It Up," the first DVD released by the award-winning children's group Imagination Movers.
"Stir It Up" presents 15 songs in a mix of MTV-style (yet child appropriate) videos and performances from their live shows, with a few goofy skits added for fun. The songs successfully blend kid-friendly themes with a bouyant mix of hip/hop, rock, rockabilly, old school R&B, reggae and calypso beats. The choreography is simple and uncomplicated, making it easy for children to get on their feet and join in the fun.
So, by now you've figured out I like "Stir It Up," but the true test of a children's DVD is whether children like it. "Stir It Up" not only passes that test, it gets and A+ and extra credit! The first time I played the DVD for my distracted 3-year old, she was moving and grooving with the Imagination Movers seconds into the high-energy first song, "Recipe (Stir It Up)." She was encouraged to "Reach high, think big, work hard, [and] have fun" in "Calling All Movers." She found out bedtime doesn't have to be scary listening to "I Want My Mommy" and even learned that cleaning up can be fun from "Clean My Room." As soon as the DVD ended, she was begging me to "play it again, Mommy." Best of all, "Stir It Up" has survived the fickleness of a 3-year old, constantly remaining my child's favorite DVD for the past few months.
The sound and video are not as slick and polished as bigger-budget DVDs, but that doesn't matter. Children love the Imagination Movers and they love "Stir It Up!" "Stir It Up" is a must-have for your child's DVD library.

With the exception of the song "Springtime," which is an oldie but a goodie, we wrote every one of these new songs between takes at the soundstage outside of New Orleans where we produce the Imagination Movers television show. With the capable help of our producer Jason Rhein, we would record a drum groove here or a guitar part there and then build melody and lyric ideas from there -- and then run back to set to shoot a scene. It's a breakneck process but the result is our best-ever collection of songs that we think are brimming with all the energy of our show. We're so proud of In a Big Warehouse (the title is a reference to one of our favorite 80s rock acts) and we think you love it, too! Thanks. -- the Movers.

(More customer reviews)I am giving 5 stars because it's that good to me. My 3 year old son loves the dvd and I have to say I enjoyed it as well. An added bonus to me was, getting to see all the "real" animals. The wiggles are dressed as animals and that is cute and makes the kids laugh, but it also has lots of live animals. And of course all kids love animals. If you are a wiggles fan or if your little one loves animals you can't go wrong with this one. It's full of toe tapping songs, and lots of wiggle fun. I will have to say I missed seeing Benny in this dvd. I guess he has left the wiggles. Captain feathersword hasn't went anywhere:) He's still a ball of fun for the kids. The captain and Anthony is our favorites. Get the dvd, your kids will love it!

3,000 Miles by Ellis Paul Review

Ellis Paul, in concert and giving guitar instruction, was excellent, even though for certain songs in the concert, the guitar sounded really out of tune, and I wish that the concert itself was longer. The interview was pretty good... felt a little awkward, as though they were trying to fill time. The road trip was ok... The main problem I have with this dvd is that it felt like it was "amature" day when it came to the technical quality of the dvd. The frequent camera changes durring the concert left one feeling a little dizzy at times. The audio level from one feature to the next were not the same, so one needs to be constantly adjusting the audio level as one plays the dvd. Very annoying when you have the volume up loud for a long section of the dvd, then it returns to the menu, and the introductory song blasts through the speakers... But for $20, especially when Ellis doesn't tour in a town near you, I recommened purchasing this dvd.

The Wiggles: You Make Me Feel Like Dancing (2008) Review

(More customer reviews)My boys and I love this video. We also purchased "Pop go the Wiggles" this summer, which is cute, but not as much fun as this one. As much as I've said I'm sick of the Wiggles (we're going on 3 years of listening to them!!), I must say I find myself dancing to this one with my 3 and 5 year old boys. It's a lot of fun.
