(More customer reviews)Tina Turner turns 70 in November this year. Keep that in mind when you watch this show. To have energy like that, not to mention LOOK the way she looks at that age, it's amazing. Vocally, she's in fine form, hitting surprisingly high notes, and alwyas with her signature power and soulfull growl. Nobody works a stage and audience like Tina Turner. She has a relaxed, one-on-one rapport with her audience that's wonderful to see. The picture is crisp, with great definition, that helps make how she looks all the more amazing. The audio is wonderful, and blasts right out of my speakers. The CD that comes in this set is fantastic, as it is the audio of the same show on the DVD. Live albums, by most artists, can be dicey things. Not everyone sounds great live, in fact you really don't want to hear some artists' attempt a live album nowadays, as they rely on every trick the studio can come up with. Not Tina. Her live shows have always been legendary, and her Live In Europe album is incredible. All in all, this set is fantastic, and the price is perfect. Likely, this will be Ms Turners last go around on the tour circuit, so get this and be captured by her magical presence once again.
