(More customer reviews)Jason Aldean is definitely one of the best young artists in country music. His second album is solid, but not better than his first. Of course, it's difficult to top the last CD.
There are a lot of really good tracks on the CD including "I Use What I Got", "Cigarette", and "Laughed Until We Cried."
The first single, "Johnny Cash" is okay... it's just too manufactured for radio... it's just not a natural song, which seems to be a theme with these songs. A lot are a product of the Nashville songwriting formula.
At times, the songs sound dangerously close to Rascal Flatts, which is bad. That's not something anyone should aspire to be.
All and all, it's a solid album and I like it. He makes it work, and his voice is awesome. I just wish he wasn't touring with Rascal Flatts so I could actually see the man in concert. Good thing he'll be around for years to come.
