(More customer reviews)This is the first musician DVD that uses a different formula in its presentation. I am used to the same old stage performance and no/or minimal backstage footage. This is the first DVD on a band/musician that I can honestly say I felt apart of the tour. It never slows down, from country to country we see a brief look of its enviroment and people, then we get to meet and hang with Eminem and his posse D12. The DVD's style is MTV driven. With Video footage of his interviews, and What seems like film covering the stage performances and crowds enthusiam for him.( which looks like MTV went along for the ride.) Seeing the footage from plenty of MTV news and interviews.
I must say I think this DVD was necessary for the critics and press to really see who and what Marshall is all about. He is a well spoken individual in each and every interview, something we know nothing about? I for one have never seen an artist look as big as he does in this DVD/documentary. There are scenes where it looks as if he is performing in soccer arena's, some 80,000 fans plus. And to make it all worth having, fan or not...The segment with Eminem and DIDO are priceless. Hearing Dido and Eminem talk about each other and how they met, and then moving directly into the live peice was brilliant. I recommend this highly. As a fan or not you are seeing a new look in behind the scenes and on a tour. The producers of this have set a new bar for what fans really want to see.
