My luck was shining when I chose this Boyzone DVD to purchase from Amazon.com!!! This is the best concert I've ever seen period!! If you are a Boyzone fan (you probably are if you're reading this) you will absolutely LOVE this DVD! Every song these guys performed was exceptional. They really put out their best effort to make this concert fabulous, and they more than accomplished that feat! There are so many different colors, so many beautiful dancers, so many fantastic musicians, and so many songs I can't begin to say everything I would like in this evaluation. I found out in the video that this concert was performed in Manchester, England in June, 2008. I consider this male Irish male group to be the best of the genre it's in, and the best of any group I've ever heard. There are two CD's inside the case. One CD contains the concert, and the other contains behind the scenes stuff like interviews of the group and preparation for the concert. If you like Boyzone, you'll definitely love this DVD! The sound and video quality are both outstanding. Oh yeah, they also sing 'No Matter What' which is the first song I ever heard them sing and the one that hooked me on them.

Where We Belong Review

Where We Belong

This is the best among this Irish band's three studio albums. Boyzone have found their niche while writing their now trademark melodies on "Where We Belong".
This CD is a VERY pleasant mix of danceable tunes and melodious ballads, all brought together by Boyzone's excellent five-part harmonies. Of ALL the CDs in my collection, THIS IS MY FAVORITE.
The tracks in this album are a mixture of fast-paced songs: -- "Picture Of You" (also from the "Bean" and "Snow Day" soundtracks), "One Kiss At A Time", "Will Be Yours", "Must've Been High", "Walk On (So They Told Me)" and "I'll Never Not Need You". This last one was written by Grammy and Oscar nominee Diane Warren.
ballads: -- "Baby Can I Hold You" (originally done by Tracy Chapman), "All The Time In The World", "And I", "You Flew Away", "I Love The Way You Love Me", "Where Did You Go", and the group's biggest-selling single, "No Matter What" written by Andrew Lloyd Weber.
and those songs in between: -- "All That I Need", "That's How Love Goes."
This album includes five singles -- "Picture Of You", "Baby Can I Hold You", "I Love The Way You Love Me", "All That I Need", and "No Matter What" -- which when released all stormed the UK charts. The first three peaked at #2. The rest went straight to #1.
My personal favorites are "All That I Need", "Will Be Yours", "That's How Love Goes", and most of all "Walk On (So They Told Me)".
This is a must for all Boyzone fans and pop music enthusiasts.
If you prefer the heavy metal and alternative music genre, this CD isn't for you.
This is pure harmonic pop at its best.
