Even though the cover depicts David Lee Roth-era Eddie Van Halen,this recording is a Sammy-era performance. I believe it is the same concert as the "live Without a Net" DVD from 1986, if not it is certainly from the same tour.
I was suspicious when there were no product details (I.E. track listing), but thought better of it & purchased the item.
The recording quality is good, no dropouts or anything like many unofficial recordings.
Unfortunately, we still have no decent record of the DLR-era VAn Halen unless one is released at the end of the current tour. I was disappointed to say the least that this wasn't from the 1977-1984 timeframe. Any suggestions of places to purchase recordings from this era would be much appreciated!I gave a 3-star rating simply because no track listing was available to allow the consumer to decide if they wanted yet another Sammy-era recording. It was misleading.
The old addage is true, never judge a book by its cover, and never purchase a CD without the tracklisting!
