(More customer reviews)God I'm just overwhelmed with this CD, what a fantastic find, all these great people on one cd, the sound is great, and where in the world can you find a copy of Fakeout by Frankie Sardo ?? I've been looking for this song for years and years, it should have and would have been a great hit had the 3 main stars not perished in that plane crash.When that happened Sardo lost any attention he would have gotten. So sad the other 3 got killed and also sad it killed his career. Anyway, go out and buy this, as I said it is Excellent as is the sound.

On Feb. 2, 1959, Buddy, Ritchie, and the Bopper performed their last performance at the Surf Ballroom in Clearlake Iowa, just before that fateful crash... On the Back is an oil painting, depicting the crash, and Buddy looking down. The title of the painting is "Not Fade Away.This cd has 23 tracks by: Big Bopper, Frankie Sardo, Dion and the Belmonts, Ritchie Valens and Buddy Holley. We did our best to re-create the night in music. This cd you will love!
