(More customer reviews)The reason for the name change, they are still called Only Men Aloud (OMA) in the Uk (wales !!), is so not to upset some gender groups in the US. So its "Men Aloud" in USA, "Only Men Aloud" rest of the world.
I have not seen this promotional CD yet, not released in UK. (Have to get a copy off TRE.) They have released two full CD's and are working on a third as "Only Men Aloud"
I suggest you search Youtube for videos of "Only Boys aloud" the latest choir created by Tim and OMA in three months. 200 boys (14-19 yo) sang three songs in public for first time live in front of 3000 people and national tv.
Totally sensational!!

Fresh off their Platinum album debut, and on the heels of their stunning victory on BBC's television smash hit show, Last Choir Standing , Britain's favorite choir MEN ALOUD is set to bring their unique music making to North America. The choir, led by Tim Rhys-Evans, features 20 tremendous vocal talents from across Wales. In addition, Men Aloud is also a recent winner of the Classical Brit Album of the Year award for their second album, Band of Brothers. Now, the group is coming to America with their first-ever concert video, Men Aloud: Live from Wales, set to debut nationally on PBS in August. The program was produced in association with the BBC and was filmed in the Wales Millennium Center with featured performances by opera star Bryn Terfel, John Owen Jones (leading man of Broadway and London's West End's Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera & Showboat) and pop icon, Bonnie Tyler. The companion DVD and CD will be released by Denon August 3, 2010 in the U.S. The group will follow this exposure with a nationwide tour in early 2011.Men Aloud was formed in 2000 by Tim Rhys-Evans. Tim s primary aim was to encourage young men to get involved with one of Wales oldest and best loved traditions, male voice singing. The group are unafraid to tackle music not normally associated with male voice choirs, and their repertoire ranges from the 17th Century to the present day.
