I like the review about the elementary school teacher voice. My thoughts are that this was made when Maui Wowwie was popular and the narrator was a big fan of it, she sounds very stoney. The first clue this is from a time long ago is it keeps referring to pausing the cassette even though it is a CD.
The producers of this did not bother to update this in any way when converting it to a CD. This means you are unable to backup or move forward, anything but pause it. If you try any of these advanced functions you will have to start from the beginning to get where you were. The worst part about that is the way it is narrated is annoying. The tape will tell you information about your current location then tell you when to turn the tape back on, followed by a wind chime, which is your signal to pause. Yes I said a wind chime. Instead of a beep or telling you to pause they run a stick across the wind chime and make you listen for 5-10 seconds while the chimes wind down. After you start up the tape again you will hear the exact same instructions you heard before the chime I was annoyed by the third pause.
Still even with all its flaws, there is a lot of good information and good tips in this guide. Maybe if you are a little less easily annoyed this will have some good information to enlighten you on your drive.
