(More customer reviews)This is without a doubt one of the very best recordings the St. Olaf Choir has made. Extraordinarily beautiful, tuned, rich, and sincere singing. The repertoire is a wonderful mix of world, modern, and traditional choral music. Many of the tracks are certainly worth the cost of the disc by themselves. One of those is Past Life Melodies, and this is without a shred of doubt the definitive recording of it. The abient overtones AND the intended ones are as strong as can possibly be! For any fan of this amazing, rightfully famous collegiate ensemble, this recording belongs at the top of the list.
