Bonnie is backed up by a hard rockin' young band of musicians, and 7 backing vocalists. The opener " HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO " is just stunningly powerful & the drama & pace of this song is amazing. Bonnie is back to rock it up , takes control of her audience & sings one great song after another. The new material is her best in years - hard rock, & ballads with an edge. There are many surprises. Most of the DVD is filmed at a concert in France in 2006 , so it is current. New songs like " LOUISE", " DRIVING ME CRAZY ", " CELEBRATE " & " RUN RUN RUN " all have catchy choruses & lyrics, & Bonnie co-wrote all of them. She still has that voice & looks great too. Of course her anthems " TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE HEART ", " IT'S A HEARTACHE " & " LOST IN FRANCE " are performed.
There are also plenty of bonus features - including extra live concert songs from another concert where Bonnie does amazing versions of " IF YOU WERE A WOMAN ", " HERE SHE COMES " and the very hard rock song " SIMPLY BELIEVE ".
