(More customer reviews)This CD is Gregg Allman at his best. The CD is great blues rock at it's best. You get Gregg's "Deep Blues" vocals & organ play, plus, some steller backing musicians, such as Doyle Bramhall II (From Texas, & featured on Eric Clapton's 2007 & 2010 Guitar Festivals), plus T-Bone Burnett on guitar, & Mac Rebennack (Dr.John, from New Orleans on piano), plus several others. This CD was produced by the legendary "Roots Music", producer, T-Bone Burnett, who won Grammy Album of the Year for 2001, with the Soundtrack to the "O Brother, Where Art Thou", Movie.
The T-Shirt is fantastic, this package is well worth the price, just for the T-Shirt alone. This T-Shirt is a great reproduction T-Shirt, from Gregg's 1974 Tour. It has "Gregg Allmans 1974 Tour", and his picture on the front, and it has all the tour dates/cities on the back of the T-Shirt. This alone is a great, vintage, collector's item . I know I love mine. I highly recommend this combo, if you can find one. Best Buy had it for a limited time only. I was lucky enough to get one from Best Buy, while they still had some. Thanks!!!!
