(More customer reviews)I was unfortunate enough to miss the Hole tour this year. Having had tickets to see them in NC just before they bailed off of co-headlining with Manson, I think that the live tracks here (recorded at the Australian Big Day Out Festival) are the next best thing. However, the real find on this disc may be the Ted Ottaviano Club Mix of Malibu. As a fan of Hole and a fan of club music, I was a little worried about the marriage of these two genres. I am pleased to say that Mr. Ottaviano's treatment of Courtney's vocals was not heavy-handed or muffling. This remix is interesting and fun to listen to. This is a great band and I think it's cool that this song may even reach club kids who might not otherwise have given them a listen. If you like club music and you like the band, you won't be disappointed.
