(More customer reviews)I've been a fan of the Dave Clark Five since 1964, when "Glad All Over" hit in the U.S. This CD contains the first three DC5 albums, in their original entirety and in the same order. I say this because Dave Clark just released the first two albums on i-tunes . . . separately. Go check it out and you'll see that some of the original songs have been REPLACED. Even the song titles listed on the cover have changed. This CD contains FIVE hit singles, SIX flip-sides and SEVEN instrumentals.
"Glad All Over" is a 100% rocking, thumping album. My favorite song there, "No Time To Lose" (which sounds like "Twist and Shout") is one of the affected tracks (i.e. not on i-tunes). "Return" has about 4 slower songs and "American Tour" contains a little of both, all very good.
If you can find this or any of the other volumes and you enjoy the Tottenham sound of the Dave Clark Five, go for it!
