(More customer reviews)Suddenly blue lights and smoke are in the air and the introductory music of "This Is Your Life" from the "E.S.P" album of 1987 opens up. The crowds are roaring and then three spotlights shines down which gives a red shine. Three shadows are seen and the audience goes crazy. They stand with their backs to the audience and Maurice gives the sign - "Ordinary Lives" kick off. Their vocals are great - as always. When the intro stops, Barry greets everyone and "Giving Up The Ghost" starts. Robin really does his thing. "To Love Somebody" and "I've Gotta Get A Message To You" also goes down great. One of my favorite Bee Gees songs, "One" comes next and then another one of the "One" album, "Tokyo Nights" plays. Barry really sings "Words" beatifully and even gives the audience change to sing solo. "Juliet" of Robin's solo album "How Old Are You" of 1983 is great to hear live.
Then comes the medley. As always, Maurice is full of jokes and when they sing "Holiday", he grabs one of the cameras and gives us a close-up on Robin singing. Barry just shook his head. A great medley of "Heartbreaker" and "Islands In The Stream" and to finish of "Spicks And Specks" - again full of jokes - this time Barry. "Lonely Days" really rocked away the audience.
This is really a great concert by the Bee Gees back in 1989 at the National Tennis Court in Melbourne, Australia. It's really worth buying and a must have for every Bee Gees fan. If you haven't got it in your collection - get it now.
