(More customer reviews)Talk to me GOOSE! I am very impressed. I have never been a Fortier supporter but I really loved this mix. All tracks are from Fortier's label, FADE. Fortier's track selection is awesome, offering both unreleased and older tracks. His mix sounds refreshing and delivers loads of positive energy.
Fortier starts it off with an unreleased track called Motive by ABE. Fresh and vibrant, this track sets the momentum immediately. Fortier continues force with a break beat track called Tempura and a tribal track called Creation. He slows the mix down with the chugging beats of Woven's Solder Me. A very sedated yet progressive track with mesmerizing indie rock vocals.
Fortier builds the mix back up as he dives deeper into the world of grinding bass and chunky guitar riffs. The Alley Qat's "Talk to me Goose" is amazing. To Cool! This track fuels the mix's momentum then suddenly breaks down into a minimal drum kick and a horn wails through the open air. Then the track gets dirtier, shaping the mixes progression. In proceed the vocals from L'Evasion. "Looking past the wall, looking through the wall".
Fortier's intensity thrusts forward with G in your Glow and Oyster Crackers. The energy is strong and intense as Fortier hits PEAK with D-Shake's Yaaaaaah! The mix slightly mellows, as Fortier journeys into the deeper emotional side with "Whateveritis". Very NICE! It contains layers of percussion weaving into another while uplifting melodic chords sweep through. Very deep and spiritual. Fortier progresses into "So Good". Man I really like this one. It keeps you dancing, keeps you alive, and keeps you craving for more. Its sooooo Good! You don't want the mix to end. Fortier finally ends Audio Tour with a good closer called Separation.
Just when the world of dance seems repetitive and redundant along comes a revitalizing mix. Providing pure energy that will keep you dancing for hours. Fortier continues to grow as a dj and producer. I look forward to his next mix. In the meantime this cd will definitely get continuous play for a while.
