(More customer reviews)John Tesh is one multi-faceted and talented musician; slow and easy candle light romance to fast-paced heart pumping. I must be one of the lucky few who own a plain white wrapper cassette recording ordered from the back of a bicyling magazine which is a prized possession of mine. You couldn't pry it from my cold dead hands! Anyone who followed his CBS Sports commentaries and soundtrack for the Tour de France in the '80s is familiar with his tremendous talent prior to his stint as host on Entertainment Tonight.

Composer John Tesh is no stranger to sports-related music. He has garnered Emmys for Best Musical Composition for his work for the Pan American Games, the Tour de France, and NBC Sports' World Track and Field Championships, and he composed music used during NBC's broadcast of the 1992 Barcelona Summer Olympics.

On VICTORY, Tesh's musical prowess and love of sports come together, resulting in a collection of songs which have all been influenced in some way by playing or observing the magnificence of the major sporting event. As might be expected, these pieces resonate with energy, tension, and joy; a good example is "Barcelona," an intense, fast-moving composition with a Spanish flavor, which was inspired by the Olympic Games as well as by the city itself, and which brings both to life in Tesh's typically bold, seamlessly-produced style.

Realizing that it is only September, this cd will definately put you in the mood for wanting to start decorating now and wrapping all of those Christmas presents. Jim Brickman has once again delivered another musical masterpiece. This much anticipated cd is right up there beside the previous Christmas cd "The Gift" It is a cd full of classics, along with some new tunes,{sure to become classics}The cd begins with a beautifully orchestrated version of "We Three Kings" This wonderful cd features a multitude of talented artists. It starts with The Blind Boys of Alabama, who at age 85, can harmonize with the best of them, singing "Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!" Then Anne Cochran {long time friend, classmate & co-star of his tours} joins Tracy Silverman, {also a co-star of his tours} along with his electric violin on the hauntingly beautiful "Do You Hear What I Hear?" as they performed it in their holiday concert last year. Jim then showcases a newcomer to the world of recording music. Her name is Kristy Starling, finalist of the "Today" show Pop Idol contest. She lends her talent to the song "Sending You a Little Christmas" She will be joing Jim and friends on his Holiday Tour this year.If you have the opportunity to catch his Christmas Tour, you should, because you won't be disappointed. Then Colin Raye returns for the holiday cd,{he was previously featured on "The Gift"} singing the title song "Peace" All in all, this is a wonderful cd to put you in that holiday mood, to decorate by, to bake cookies by, or just to sit and reflect on good times, families , memories and what Christmas means to you.

(More customer reviews)I bought this dvd(full screen format, not wide stuff) mainly because of my curiosity for this talented musician and its availability of Korean subtitles. But I was very disappointed by its poor quality in both audio and video aspects. The cheap price tells something. I think the manufacturer should know that consumers are always willing to pay more money for higher quality. Only one thing good was that I became to know better about Mr. Clayderman.
