Most of these songs were recorded during the 80's so you've probably already heard them before. If not, you may be surprised at what Ministry and the Cure used to sound like. This is a pretty good introduction to some of the better bands of the goth/industrial genre, but all you kids out there wearing Joy Division T-shirts already knew that. Right? Anyway, many of these bands such as NIN and Echo and the Bunnymen are still making quality tunes so check them out. Also take the time to introduce yourself to the vastly underrated Sister's of Mercy who's "Lucretia My Reflection" is just taken to a whole new level of genius by the similarly underrated Alkaline Trio. Enough with the homage. Buy this and check out the Suicide Girls.
