Since original guitarist Rob Price had had enough of touring by 1999...the lead guitar is handled by Bryan Bassett...formerly of one of the incarnations of Molly Hatchet. Bryan does a great job of guitar work with a few minor miscues along the way. Lonesome Dave is amazing to watch...just after months of chemotherapy he is obviously feeling good and having a great time as all of Foghat seem to be doing. There are also great interviews here along with a great show just months before Lonesome Dave's untimely death on February 7,2000. It is obvious from this DVD that Foghat still believed in delivering a full assualt of blues and rock and that the Houston, Texas crowd was definitely into it. This DVD also included great live performances of "Somebody's Been Sleeping In My Bed" and a haunting live performance of "Angel Of Mercy" which was written by Lonesome Dave and Bryan Bassett. I think any Foghat fan should have this DVD....not for just the fact that it was one of Lonesome Dave's last performances...but also because it shows that Foghat still had the fire to play as well as they ever did.

Foghat's electrified and hard-rocking boogie was a multiplatinum success in the 1970s, long after the fabled British blues boom had come to an end--a testament to the enormous and wide-ranging appeal of the music as envisioned by singer/guitarist "Lonesome" Dave Peverett. Millennium Tour gives us undistilled Foghat, recorded and filmed live in concert in 1999, shortly before Peverett's premature death at the age of 56. Track Listing: 1. Drivin' Wheel 2. Somebody's Been Sleepin' In My Bed 3. Stone Blue 4. It Hurts Me Too 5. Rock Your House 6. Sweet Home Chicago 7. Angel of Mercy 8. Fool for the City 9. I Just Want to Make Love To You 10. Slow Ride
