I was at the Channel in Boston for this concert and I still believe it's the greatest show I've ever seen (and I've seen alot of shows). Mr. Pop was in rare form that evening as the sonic wall of noise (music?) on this disc shows. He was early 40's then and he taught some of the young turks playing with him what it's really all about. Picture Iggy hanging upside down from a pipe in the ceiling, swinging like a baboon, sweat pouring off him and you, air so hot that steam is rising from the crowd, and the man is belting out "I WISH LIFE COULD BE SWEDISH MAGAZINES".
I do too Iggy, I do too.
